the Trouser Waist Ribbon is used in the clothing industry in the area of the waist and is sewed into trousers, it serves as a reinforcement and stability. In most cases the waistband is used in the men’s clothing; for one trouser an average of 1-2 m is used. the Trouser Waist Ribbon consists of a combination of materials. The outer fabric, the so called pocket lining, consists most of the time of a cotton or a cotton mixed fabric. For the stability a core yarn is worked in, which is either sewed up with the pocket lining or it is fixed with the help of a sticking ribbon on the pocket lining. For the decoration "piping" or tapes are worked in together or a woven Ribbon, most of the time with the weaving of the name is sewed in or sewed on.

The single materials are led by trimming and by doing this they are put into the right and finishing form. The trimmings are located directly in front of the needle of the sewing machine or at the entrance of the sticking machine.. in addition to that the sewed Trouser Waist Ribbon is sometimes ironed.

the Trouser Waist Ribbons are in principle divided into several ways:

a) the open Trouser Waist Ribbon

the pocket lining doesn’t enclose totally the core yarn. on the back the waistband is open.

b) the closed Trouser Waist Ribbon

the pocket lining encloses the die core yarn completely, the waist band is closed on the back. (especially for the manufacturing with beisler machines.

All Articles are woven , if they are not assigned for another finishing, by colour-proofed and laundry- proofed, yarn tinted raw materials.

Weaving

The articles can have following physiological characteristics because of their particular weaving construction and they can be:

weaving shaft articles

The bindings being partly very complicated are woven and realised by 2 -16 shafts in a 1 2 weft system. As normal weavings there can be realised tabby weave, twill, satin, or their derivations and as a selvage arrangement there can be realised tabular edges or pearl edges. In addition there can be woven layers or paddings into the fabric. There can be realised special demands caused by material f. ex. reflection, fluorescenting or antistatic.

Weaving warp jacquard articles

The bindings being partly very complicated are woven and realised in a weft system by 2-8 shafts and 36- 160 jacquard harness cords ( cords used for the moving of the drawn in braids). As normal weavings there can be realised linen, twill, satin or their derivations and as a selvage arrangement there can be realised tabular edges or pearl edges. In addition there can be woven in layers or paddings into the fabric. There can be realised special demands caused by material f. ex. Reflection, fluorescenting or antistatic.

Weaving Full jacquard articles

The bindings being partly very complicated can be woven with 216 till 512 Jacquard harness cords in a 1-6 weft system ( cords used to move the drawn in ribbons into the braids) As a normal weaving there can be realised linen, twill, satin or their derivations. As a selvage arrangement there can be realised tabular edges or pearl edges. In addition there can be

realised tabular edges or pearl edges. there can be in addition woven in layers or paddings into the fabric. There can be realised special demands caused by material f. ex. Reflection, Fluorescenting or antistatic.

Finishing

Within the finishing the articles can be shrank to be up to the standard and then they receive there the according texture. ( soft till hard).

To shrink means an industrial shrinking so that the ribbon stops shrinking with further washings.

Since years one pays extremely attention on ecology so that all our products of the second ordinance do correspond to the change of the request article order of the 15.07.1994.

Within the production no chromium-combinations are used anymore nor do we use carrier on the basis of halogen aromatic hydrocarbons, Biphenyl or ortho- Phenylphenole. Within the dyeing no azoic dyes are used which create one of the following mentioned aminos :

p-Kresidin

On command we can deliver all articles corresponding to a ecotex- standard 100 quality. These articles are made by ecotex- standard yarns and they are equipped with an ecotex- standard- finishing without formaldehyde. With this the ecotex- standards meet all requirements. Within the production no chromium-combinations are used anymore nor do we use carrier on the basis of halogen aromatic hydrocarbons, Biphenyl or ortho- Phenylphenole. Within the colourings no azoic dyes are used which create one of the following mentioned aminos :

The additionally calculated charges depend on the extra production expense and they are individually. There can be added on demand special WENZELBAND lab certificates without additional calculating of the bill. The lab certificates of other institutes are cost neutral and are further calculated.

Dyeing

All Articles can be died with the following 1-2 dunks or they can be prepared with the application of different normal materials for different colouring processes.

Textile print

The article can be printed 1-6 coloured transfer or it can be printed 1-4 coloured using roller-, strainer or flexo print.

Using roller-, strainer or flexo prints, the cylinder or the strainer cost ca. 600 DM each colour.

Using transfer print which we can deliver till 5- coloured, the preparation costs cost 600.-DM each colour. The minimum of printing is about 10.000 metres each colour position.
